 Emotionally Motivated

We can live without our thinking brain, but will die without our emotional brain. Listen to those first emotions, for the body never lies. Then do thoughtful diligence, because we often lie to ourselves.

Take what works, discard what doesn’t.
We're all unique even though our basic needs are the same.

Help Me - I Feel Crazy Emotions for No Reason!

Most people are able to "feel another's pain" if they are witness to, read about, or hear about a loved one getting hit hard, say, by a baseball. Science is revealing that there are mirror neurons in the brain that allow this to happen. Yet, highly sensitive people (HSPs) have a different neurology from the average and therefore feel a lot more without even needing a known physical stimulus. These HSPs will often feel emotions or even have dreams that are not theirs.
It is 'as if' their mirror neurons are able to read and interpret far subtler emotional vibrations, perhaps at the quantum level. Regardless of explanations, the situation is real and there are helpful solutions that can help the highly sensitive empaths of the world feel a bit more sane and safe. And that is why I recommend Kyra Mesich’s book, The Sensitive Person’s Survival Guide. It is not for everyone, but it is for those who have a similar issue.
I had a similar issue. As I became more self-aware, I began to notice that I was feeling emotions that I could not justify, and I've got some pretty good justification skills. A peculiar series of seemingly unrelated events led me to this book. I tried one of the remedies in the book that just happened to be a remedy that a craniosacral therapist had spontaneously and without explanation suggested I try. A recommendation I ignored until I read this book. Much to my surprise, it worked. I’m still affected by the emotions of others, but no longer in such a debilitating fashion.
With a little bit of open-minded understanding and a simple, working remedy, life inside your own body doesn't have to feel quite so crazy anymore.

I have the intelligence to know I am stupid, and the arrogance to experiment. Both are key scientific values.

    Goal

To express solution-oriented arguments toward a healthier self and world.

    Insights

    No 'system' is corrupt;
each person within it chooses to go along instead of doing what's right.
    ---
No technology is bad, each person who uses it chooses to behave or not within it.
    ---
If we agreed upon and prioritized a handful of core values, everything we say and do would reflect those values, even as time and technology changed.
    ---
If we applied polarity physics to everyday life, we would recognize the importance of balancing the best of both light and dark aspects, instead of knee-jerking from one unbalanced extreme to another like a free radical.
    ---
Emotions are vital yet never an adult's excuse for responding immaturely. Instead, see emotional spikes, whether positive or negative, as a sign to slow down, backup, and proceed with informed caution or change direction.
