Off The Cuff
Take what works, discard what doesn’t.
We're all unique even though our basic needs are the same.

I am loathe to sound the alarm unless I need to make a point that gets through as it did not get through to me: Magnesium supplementation is a must for most people! My usual "don't listen to a word I say" does not apply. All adults need to address the magnesium deficiency problem we have by learning about magnesium and doing our own homework, because there is no reliable blood test to inform us. Within, is everything you need to get started.
Magnesium is an essential element required in over 300 reactions necessary for metabolic health. Scientific, anecdotal, and user evidence overwhelmingly supports the fact that likely ⅔ of Western population is deficient - for good but sad reasons - in this 4th most common mineral after calcium, sodium, and potassium. Through objective hindsight, I realize that I have always been a healer.
Where healing has been welcome, I have been successful. Where healing has not been welcome, I have failed. Those are broad, yet relatively accurate, strokes. Healing is nothing more than identifying that which is incorrect and correcting it. To heal the world, we must be open to correction. Pollution, for example, is incorrect. Remove pollution and healing happens, naturally. Healing correction is never violent or extreme, punishing or condemnatory. Healing is a vital mindset that can be nurtured in anyone. When healing is one's bottom line then everything we encounter in life that is amiss and can be corrected by us, gets corrected. Allowing incorrectness to live on is corruption, and corruption is sickness. Correction is healing. Healing is also a feeling as well as a mindset. When all is right with the world, the feeling we experience is one of internal peace, and that sense of peace is a healing feeling. Healing feelings, combined with helpful effort, have the power to make right what feels wrong. When I am with a client, my healing mindset gets supercharged, you might say. Yet any environment where healing is welcome can be a supercharge opportunity. It is up to us to curate environments that invite supercharged healing energy in. There will never be an end to healing work. Good. It means none of us will ever be out of work. About me. A multi-purpose home remedy ingredient I purposely ignored due to my gut’s inability to tolerate it, has turned out to be an occasional, needed remedy: Vinegar. Specifically, apple cider vinegar or ACV. It is one of three main ingredients in a recipe I hope you will join me in trying. Well diluted, ACV is already known to be a digestive helper, immune supporter, and weight loss tool, but combined with one or two other antimicrobial ingredients, it packs a powerful punch for arthritic relief, too - but only if it 'tastes' right to you. Vinegar can exasperate candida symptoms and potentially stress liver, kidneys, and central nervous system. As always with natural medicines, use judiciously and do your own research. One of the first areas of our body to be affected by aging is the center of the lower pelvis, where the bladder lives. No matter your age, life's uncomfortable when holding or releasing your water becomes a struggle. I developed a little bladder pushup program I share with clients that helps keep the fascia and the bladder in better shape. There are also some no-nonsense bladder health tips from Julia at Ascension Physio that I recommend. Download her free e-booklet and get yourself some continence peace of mind for your future.
